Welcome to the Center for Respite Care blog. The Respite is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to provide quality medical care to homeless people who need a safe place to heal. Through counseling, regular evaluation, referrals, and other therapeutic avenues, we help our clients address underlying issues of homelessness as well.
In fact, we prevent rehospitalization in 88% of patients and are highly successful at retaining patients until medical recovery is complete – 78% of our clients stay until they’ve healed. Why? Because we catch them before they fall through the cracks. We provide housing, food, medical care, healthy meals, laundry and shower facilities, and a space for clients to express themselves and connect with others.
